David’s Team were fantastic from start to finish. David himself is highly organised and very professional but with a warm and friendly approach. He was excellent at communicating throughout all the different stages of the build so we knew what to expect and when. He kept the project amazingly to time with only minor delays considering there were a lot of set backs and challenges in relation to access to the site (low bridge/forestry track access issues) and we experienced a lot of stormy weather and heavy rain at the beginning of the build which posed problems on site with flooding, drainage and tracks that were too muddy and soft for heavy vehicles.

David was always realistic with us so that we knew where we stood over costs and timings. He is a natural solution finder, whenever an issue cropped up he was nearly always able to navigate around this by coming up with another option or approach which we really appreciated as it is why this house has been such a success. It is so important to be able to trust in the builder you choose and David put us at ease immediately! I would highly recommend him to anyone who was considering a self build.

Build quality all around is exceptional and David and all his team has very strong attention to detail. Not just for things that are visible but all the work that’s not seen from groundworks to insulation and air tightness.

David and his team have given us a beautiful family home for our girls to grow up in, and us to grow old in! It’s a warm, bright and uplifting space which is exactly what we hoped for and that is thanks to everyone who was involved. It may not be quite on the scale of a grand designs house but it certainly feels like it to us and it’s definitely our dream home. We’ve travelled the world, lived in many places and moved house many, many times. But David has built us the perfect house and we can’t thank him and his team enough.
